RedHat Channel Sales Account Manager - ISV in Tokyo, Japan

The Red Hat Channel Sales team is looking for a Channel Sales Account Manager for an assigned independent software vendor (ISV) to join us in Tokyo, Japan. In this role, you'll promote sales, ensure customer satisfaction, and manage partner engagement within your assigned ISV. You will develop and maintain relationships with ISV partners and regional system integrators (SIs) and their technical enablement. You’ll also promote, recommend, and demote partners, and manage regional Red Hat associates to enable sales and technical partners. As a Channel Sales Account Manager, you will serve as a Red Hat ambassador and a subject matter expert for business-related issues. In addition, you’ll apply embedded programs to accelerate the use of Red Hat’s solutions in ISV solutions.
Primary job responsibilities
Work with the existing and potential ISV partners to meet assigned sales quota by creating sales plans and strategies with local field sales teams; plan for design wins in ISV solutions
Maintain long-term relationships with ISV partners and key accounts and partners to achieve customer satisfaction and ensure after-market revenue; identify, recruit, and bring new partners
Manage internal Red Hat representatives like solutions architects, consultants, and inside sales representatives to support sales and account expansion efforts
Provide support to partner sales teams through training, customer visits, technical and administrative information, demonstrations, or customer price quotes
Define and manage the investments required to implement long-term growth initiatives with partner accounts
Develop and implement joint business plans to increase revenue on our technologies and ensure partners’ engagement
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, business, or marketing
5+ years of experience of partner and solutions integrator (SI) sales
Experience in channel and ISV alliance management
Solid knowledge of solutions providers and ISVs, and existing relationships with similar organizations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build relationships with C-level executives in partner organizations
Understanding of Linux or Unix operating systems and open source technologies
