Join us!Job Posting TitleMaintenance SupervisorJob Description SummarySupervises employees in the installation and maintenance of electrical and/or mechanical equipment and machinery used in company operations.Oversees the installation and maintenance of equipment and machineryOversees the work of maintenance and maintenance support staff; communicates expectations and provides direction and training. Monitors work performance and provides feedback.Coordinates maintenance of production equipment. Oversees technical process control and quality process control.Job Description*Maintains safe, secure, and healthy maintenance environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; immediately addressing issues and alerting others regarding potential concerns.*Supervises maintenance employee outcomes by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining associates. Communicates job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions, and recommends compensation actions, adhering to defined policies and procedures.*Accomplishes maintenance requirements by orienting, assigning, and coaching employees.*Meets maintenance standards by following productivity and quality standards; resolving problems.*Works with a cross functional team to meet cost standards by implementing cost-saving actions.*Fulfills shift operations plans by receiving operational report from previous shift and allocating resources, in addition to fulfilling current operational plan.*Completes shift operations by monitoring maintenance services, reallocating resources, and solving operational problems.*Documents maintenance services by completing forms, reports, logs, and records, ensuring accuracy of data.*Contributes to maintenance and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.*All other duties as assigned.Required Skills and Education-Maintain a safe and productive workplace while leading a team of skilled trades hourly associates.-Troubleshoot daily equipment issues by identifying and resolving process, system and/or mechanical failures.-Provide clear expectations and hold team members accountable while providing continual feedback.-Provide associates with inspiration, direction, and coaching to achieve work objectives.-Development team members to become self sufficient with regard to completing their work responsibilities effectively.-Lead process improvement activities by coordinating cross functional teams comprised of production, maintenance and engineering.-Bachelor's Degree (Engineering preferred)-At least 2 years of related work experience with a unionized workforce preferred.-Familiarity and understanding of Process Control Plan, PFMEA and other standards of process control.-Strong leadership skills and ability to lead, manage and motivate the production team in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, --Performance and Continuous Improvement.-Strong written and verbal communication skills.-Experience with high performance work teams.-High level of initiative and assertiveness, along with ownership and accountability.-Ability to analyze short and long term objectives and make good decisions.-Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic work environment while continually managing resources and
