Assembler II, Electro-Mechanical
This position is responsible for all aspects of assembling, testing, inspecting and packaging electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and finished products.
Maintains and follows paperwork and proper compliance and quality systems requirements.
Assembles electro-mechanical product as required; may need to use hand tools, soldering irons, adhesives, and occasional use of microscopes.
Operates computerized testing and calibration equipment of assembled product and subassemblies.
Performs visual and/or functional inspection of components before use, including printed circuit boards, machined/fabricated components and other precision components. 5. Packs product into proper packaging, manually.
Maintains stock levels in work area.
Performs work in a controlled environment. (i.e. – Cleanroom)
Maintains clean work area.
Provides training to new associates as necessary, upon qualification.
Performs soldering, certification preferred.
Collaborates in the revision or development of new manufacturing procedures and documentation.
Performs other job duties as assigned.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years experience in electronic assembly related industry.
Excellent math skills.
Experience with printed circuit boards and ESD control, preferred.
Knowledge of general assembly components, methods and tools.
Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
