Bloomin' Brands ServiceNow Administrator in Tampa, Florida
The ServiceNow Administrator will be a key player in the day to day operations and administration of the Service Now platform. They will require experience customizing and maintaining ITSM and ITOM ServiceNow products. Developing workflow customizations and orchestration based on requirements gathered from both user and business processes.
The ServiceNow Administrator will work closely with business and IT teams to gather input to support ongoing business needs for ServiceNow configuration, implementation and support. As new technologies emerge and impact ServiceNow, the ServiceNow Administrator is expected to learn these applications very quickly and resolve any problems involved in integrating new applications with our systems.
Participate in ongoing production support and end user support.
Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions.
Maintenance and continuous improvement of the process, standards, policies, working methods and tools.
Work with ServiceNow Project team to develop and handle updates and configuration changes as required.
Research processes and automate where applicable using workflow techniques.
Work with different business teams to help create and maintain Tier Zero methods specific to their needs.
Escalates issues in effective and efficient manner.
Knowledge & Experience
Perform day to day administration of the ServiceNow.
Develop clear and concise technical & process documentation.
Communicate ServiceNow process, operations and capability information to all levels of management effectively.
Maintain the integrity of the ServiceNow tool across production and non-production environments.
Working knowledge of Service Portals, Order Guides, Catalog Items, Design Flow.
Work with business users to identify and refine required information and workflows.
Ability to write simple scripts and html (Server Side, Client Side, UI Macros, UI Pages).
Ability to manage multiple and often conflicting tasks; effectively prioritizes.
Minimum 2+ years’ direct experience as a ServiceNow administrator.
Experience configuring core ServiceNow modules.
Strong analytical, estimating and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Ability to present and explain technical information to diverse audiences.
Ability to be flexible, adaptable and learn new concepts quickly.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities.
Demonstrated understanding of ITIL processes, operations and procedures.
Advanced Scripting/ Reporting and other classes area highly recommended.
Experience with using and obtaining data from Service Now.
Experience with using the ServiceNow platform to perform REST/API functions.
Experience with processes involving problem identification, recovery, escalation and resolution.
Experience with processes involving creating, deploying, and maintaining customer applications.
Able to function well in a fast-paced and adaptive environment.
ServiceNow System Administrator Certification preferred.
