As an Operations Support Specialist (OSS) you will be responsible for providing Support to the Warrior Care Program (WCP) Operations Division.
The Department of Defense (DoD), US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), has a continuing requirement for the Warrior Care Global Support (WCGS) services. The WCPs primary goal is to provide non‐medical advocacy and assistance to Special Operations Forces (SOF) Wounded, Ill, and Injured (WII) RSMs and their families in their recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration, or transition to civilian life.
More About the Role:
This as an OSS you will get to support the WCP mission by:
Communicating, coordinating, and serving as a liaison with disparate locations for collection of required information;
Processing information into mandated databases and tracking systems;
Tracking casualty movement for visibility of additional support needs;
Performing operational support activities to meet mission requirements; and
Producing informational products to meet government reporting or briefing needs.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Typically has a Bachelor’s degree or Associates/Vocational/Technical education or equivalent work experience, but for this position the following is required:
Three (3) years of experience in Microsoft applications (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook calendar) and Adobe Acrobat;
Bachelor’s degree in any field or Associates Degree (in any field) with four (4) additional years of relevant experience. All degrees and certifications must come institutions of higher education which have been accredited through agencies are recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.
