QA Supervisor Job Description
Directs and/or manages all activities associated with FAS Quality Assurance (QA), including developing and implementing policies and procedures.
Establishes and implements performance and service standards for the QA group.
Develops and implements process and/or operational improvements within the QA group to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of QA operation.
Ensures audit and reporting productivity meets or exceeds standards.
Assesses and analyzes team performance, identifies performance gaps and provides feedback and coaching.
Provides guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance of QA group.
Assesses and evaluates current QA team competencies to develop a baseline of service opportunities.
Trains or assists in training new QA employees and ensuring ongoing training is effective.
Measures service levels and tracking systems for program improvement.
Analyzes and resolves customer service/inquiry escalations.
Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.
Maintains adherence in areas such as attendance, punctuality, use of time-off, etc.
All other duties, as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Associates degree required. Comparable work experience can be substituted for education.
Two years’ experience in a claims processing production environment
One year supervisory experience in a production environment, preferably in Medicaid or healthcare related field
Strong analytical skills and problem solving capabilities
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint a plus.
