Responsible for facilitating the development of local strategic plan and activating key commercial strategies aiming to grow 3M Taiwan’s business, competitive position and customer intimacy. Position will report to GCA Corporate Strategy leader with dotted line to MD and became an extended member of 3M Taiwan’s LT.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:• Facilitates to form 3M Taiwan’s strategic plan through aggregation of insights shared by MD, GCA Corporate Strategy leader and Taiwan leadership team.• Support MD in Commercial activation plans through identifying and execution of commercial transformation projects. Support data analytics on special projects that may be needed by MD office.• Lead local corporate planning process and deliver 5 years strategic plan input into GCA region. Including portfolio/market segment prioritization, resource/investment allocation. Tracks and monitors subsidiary portfolio direction and progress.• Study and explore national economic plan and macro economy situation to identify 3M Taiwan opportunity to accelerate business growth. Conduct research on 3M’s core markets and industry development; synthesize and generate implications for 3M Taiwan.• Provides insights and support to drive organizational changes needed to support strategic commercial transformation of 3M Taiwan.
MSO Country Coordinator:• Provides country input into GCA corporate MSO strategies & priorities. Represents Taiwan’s needs into GCA MSO priorities.• Alignment of local MSO resources with 3M Taiwan’s strategic and commercial priorities and goals.
Qualifications:• 10+ years working experience, preferably with MBA from top business schools• Strong analytical skills and capable of manipulating and synthetizing data into actionable information.• Demonstrated persuasion and influencing skills. Strong ability to network with both local and area teams.• Demonstrate strategic thinking abilities• Fluent in both written and spoken English• Good presentation and communication skill.• High collaboration skills• High standard of ethic code.
