We are recruiting for the following position(s):

Full-time position for our Tacoma Medical Clinic. MA Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the performance of the MA?s and LPN?s working in the pod, assisting with the patient flow issues and performing procedures as needed. Other duties include assisting with patient acute illness screening, administrative duties as assigned and managing phone messages for the providers in the assigned pod.

The MA Supervisor will be required to follow other instructions and to perform other duties as assigned by the Nursing Manager or Clinic Manager.

  • Responsibilities include managing the overall function of the pod he or she is assigned to, provide patient education, and assist provider in obtaining and ensuring appropriate consents meet federal guidelines.

  • Must have working knowledge of OB/GYN medical terminology & procedures.

  • The MA Supervisor is team oriented; works collaboratively with all other healthcare team members to provide the best outcomes for patients and the organization.

  • MA Supervisor must possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Applicant must have over a year of ambulatory experience and supervisory experience.

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish required for this position.
