SRC Radar Applications Engineer in Syracuse, New York

Position Description:
SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a radar applications engineer to work closely with our customers to perform demonstrations and trials in the field.

Responsibilities

Support all aspects of radar system field test and demonstration (planning to execution, and bringing follow-on action items to closure)
Support radar system analysis, simulations and trades
Operate radar and electronic warfare systems during demonstrations
Analyze data and produce test reports
Act as the primary customer interface during test planning and execution
Work closely with business development leads, program management, and multi-disciplinary engineering teams
Contribute to white paper and proposal efforts

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical area with five or more years of related experience
Applicants should be self-motivated and methodical with strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
Experience analyzing data with, and developing tools in, MATLAB
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, and comfort interacting with customers
Up to 25 percent travel, mostly domestic
Preferred Requirements

Experience with integration and testing of DoD or Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) radar systems
Working knowledge of radar and electronic warfare systems
Security Clearance Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
