Position Purpose:

This position will provide technical leadership for all sales and go-to-market activities in Cargill Aquaculture Nutrition (CQN)’s aquaculture feed (shrimp) business in West India. Supporting the sales and marketing team to achieve the financial targets and overall business goals outlined.

Technical Support to Commercial Team

  • Provide technical support to key feeders, client/prospect

  • Render consulting advice and service as needed for the purpose of generating revenue and business

  • Generate proofs of performance and communication tactics

  • Sales Training- Train and educating sales team on Key Feeder development, Nutrition, Product knowledge and detailing process


Technical Services and Campaign Development

  • Technical Service Support to generate absolute increase in brand equity, profit/ market share and business growth Company advertising, sales promotion policies, strategies and programs

  • Sales promotions through conducting Group campaigns, Technical seminars, technical trainings to customers.

  • Effectiveness of promotion and advertising programs are evaluated in coordination with the Sales Team and Customer Development group

  • Help SMT function to prepare technical material for Campaigns / product literature/Brochures30%

Market feedback and updates

  • Review any customer account information to familiarize yourself with key players.

  • Draft, review and present customer presentation

  • Market feedback about the product, services, new opportunity identification and updating to TAM, Product performance feed back

  • Compiling POP`s, publishing and circulation of the same to sales team

  • Share key articles, attending seminars, webinars, sharing videos, etc with key customer contacts20%


Education, Experience, Skills

Required Qualifications

  • Masters in Fisheries Sciences

  • 3 - 5 years experience in Technical Services/Sales experiences, specialy in aquaculture feed (shrimp is referable)

  • Strong expertise in Technical Skills on Shrimp : Value Base Solution Process, etc.

  • Strong technical and business acumen

  • Proven success in leading the technical team/services and company strategies

  • Advanced experience positively incluencing and collaborating while engaging a large and diverse team.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills - Ability to lead, engage, and motivate the technical and commercial team, build their capabilities and help the team win customer business.

  • Demonstrated decision-making and problem solving ability

  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • High learning agility

  • Ability to effectively collaborate within Cargill Animal Nutrition and with other BU’s
