RedHat Telco Strategic Accounts Manager, EMEA in Stockholm, Sweden

Work with a key network equipment provider (NEP) to manage our sales in its lines of business. The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Telco Strategic Accounts Manager to join us in Stockholm, Sweden. In this role, you will be part of our global telecommunications vertical. You’ll build new commercial relationships and expand our business. You’ll also keep close relationships with the team in the Nordics region that will support you with local expertise. As a Key Account Manager, you will help Red Hat’s industry-leading offerings continue to grow each year. You’ll need to have an excellent combination of customer-facing skills, operational excellence, and deep sales knowledge to maintain crucial partnerships and carry out our vision.
Primary job responsibilities
Meet assigned sales quota
Work in close coordination with the Global Alliance Executive and implement the global account strategy in the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region
Build your Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) plan and manage its implementation; federate your virtual team and your management behind it
Develop new customers and expand existing base within the assigned account
Establish and maintain C-level relationships
Call on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative information and demonstrations of our offerings
Quote appropriate customer prices
Represent Red Hat to customers and customers to Red Hat in sales-related matters
Coordinate internal needs
8+ years of experience selling software solutions to the telecommunications industry; understanding of the companies and opportunities that exist within this market segment
Good understanding of the NEPs
Experience with and a network in the infrastructure market of the IT industry, e.g., operating systems, middleware, virtualization and cloud, storage, and system management
Solid understanding of market dynamics, including customer needs, processes, offerings, and our competition
Excellent communication and technical skills for developing relationships at engineering, commercial, alliance, and executive levels throughout organizations
Record selling complex solutions to large organizations and multiple decision-makers
Ability to work as part of a team while demonstrating flexibility and initiative
Fluent language skills in English and Swedish
