Minitab, LLC Bi-lingual Academic Account Manager in State College, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 19-48Minitab is looking for a Bi-lingual Academic Account Manager, fluent in English and Spanish. In this role you will be required to grow and support Minitab's Academic Sales efforts in the Americas. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of direct technical product sales experience, allowing you to quickly gain an understanding of Minitab's portfolio of products and have the ability to perform demonstrations of the products to both new and existing customers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESManage all aspects of an existing customer's sales cycle to ensure a high level of renewal retention and revenue growth via upsell/cross-sell.Perform demos of the Minitab portfolio of products to potential and existing customers.Understand all available licensing options and the annual license renewal process.Develop and build consultative relationships with potential and existing customers.Represent Minitab and its portfolio of products at trade shows/events.Provide back-up support for product activation and deployment by existing clients.Serve as back-up for other Academic sales staff team members.Maintain complete and accurate customer and business information in CRM.Work effectively within a team environment.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESPerform other duties and carry out additional assignments and responsibilities as new developments occur, or as needed to support the sales effort.Maintain a physical office at one of Minitab's building locations.EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE.and.nbsp;Bachelor's degree required, Bachelor's in business administration preferred..and.nbsp;1-2 years of direct sales and/or account management experience in SaaS/software..and.nbsp;Previous experience in technical role (product support or training) a plus..and.nbsp;Experience with statistical, mathematical, or analytics software is a plus..and.nbsp;Experience working with a CRM software program..and.nbsp;Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other office applications required.QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES.and.nbsp;Ability to project a confident and professional manner over the phone and in person..and.nbsp;Consistent overachievement of goals..and.nbsp;Excellent written and verbal communication skills..and.nbsp;Ability to work normal business hours (8am-5pm) relative to your sales territory..and.nbsp;Ability and willingness to travel, up to 25%.and.nbsp;Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language..and.nbsp;Fluency in Spanish required.The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
