Responsibilities Req ID: 50010 To provide direct patient care to inpatients who have had a cardiovascular event or surgery. Will assist with outpatients as needed. To design and implement treatment plans for cardiac patients. This includes chart review, plans of care, exercise programming, education and program progression. At ExerCare fitness center it involves fitness center supervision, safety, exercise programming and excellent customer service. Education BA/BS/MA in exercise physiology. Qualification/Skills BLS required, ACLS,ACSM preferred. Ability to read EKG's, take blood pressures, evaluate clinical conditions. In depth knowledge of exercise programming and design. Excellent communications skills and team player. Ability to multitask and change direction. Excellent customer service skills. Work Schedule Casual position that will fill in for vacation coverage and ill calls. Will be required to work 1 weekend /month. This position will also cross train to cover at ExerCare Fitness Center.
