As a Cloud architect, you know how to build a cloud based technical architecture that meets customer needs and takes advantage of Cloud capabilities. What if you could use your Cloud architecture skills to help shape the direction of future DoD infrastructures? We need you to help us develop Cloud based solutions to some of our client's toughest challenges.
As a Cloud architect on our team, you’ll help design a secure, Cloud based solutions to support mission critical operations. You’ll recommend tools and capabilities based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on premise, Cloud based, and hybrid resources. You’ll learn how to help customers overcome their most difficult challenges in Cloud migration from an experienced team. You’ll work with your customer and migration teams to ensure standards are met as you guide them through Cloud migration. This is an opportunity to use the latest Cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your customer’s environment using current Cloud capabilities. You’ll be able to build your experience in Cloud based solutions, security, and hosting interactive artificial intelligence (AI) powered solutions while developing critical systems for DoD and other clients. We focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. -Experience with collaborative tools, including Jira, Confluence, or Git
-Experience with Linux or Unix
-Experience with Cloud service providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
-Experience in scripting, Bash, Python, or Powershell
-Experience with CI/CD technologies, including CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins
-Knowledge of Cloud computing and data analytics
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
-Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools
-Experience with enterprise infrastructure VPNs, including F5 or Palo Alto
-Experience with Docker, Vagrant, Kubernetes, or ECS
-Experience with multi-threaded, Big Data, and distributive Cloud architectures and frameworks, including using Hadoop, MapReduce, Cloudera, Hive, Spark, and Elastic Search to conduct Big Data analytics
-Experience with preparing DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) or Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages and supporting documentation
-Experience with Nessus, SCAP Compliance Checker, STIGs, hardening systems, and applying IA controls
-Knowledge of system architecture, including process, memory, storage, and networking management preferred
-BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical engineering field
-Security+ or CISSP certification
