RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take projects from original concept through final implementation

  • Define project scope and objectives, develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports

  • Conduct project meetings to help ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables

  • Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track/review vendor deliverables

  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team

  • Determine staffing requirements and form project teams

  • Participate in the development of best practices, project standards, procedures, and quality objectives, including metrics for assessing progress

  • Utilize established project standards, procedures and quality objectives

  • Conduct project kickoff meetings, communicating individual roles and project/program expectations

  • Provide work direction and leadership to assigned projects or programs including sub projects and at times, individual project members; including scheduling, assignment of work and review of project efforts

  • Monitor and audit project or program milestones and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of project schedule Identifies ways to resolve schedule issues. Keeps management aware of the situation

  • Provide required project status reporting, assess variances from the project plan, gather, metrics, and develops and implements changes as necessary to ensure that the project remains within specified scope and is within time, cost, and quality objectives

  • Minimum of six years of IT Project Management or equivalent team leadership experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience; Master's degree preferred

  • PMP and Agile Certifications strongly preferred

  • Experience in the use of multiple structured methodologies such as Agile and PMI

  • Prior mortgage/lending product experience strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated delivery experience for large scale projects and/or program execution

  • Prior customer facing experience

  • Demonstrated ability to obtain results in a matrix organization

  • Ability to enlist support of cross function teams within a large or matrix organization

  • Demonstrated strength in problem definition and resolution
