The Systems Engineering and Integration for the National Systems (SEIN) for Geospatial-Intelligence program delivers full life-cycle systems integration and engineering services to the missions of its customer. This program is chartered to provide technical leadership for many of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s (NGA) highest priorities and projects.

The position will directly support the GEOINT Enterprise Partner Engagement (GP) Office; specifically the GP TX working with the NGA/Service Components PMOs and Service NST’s with IT Operations to ensure compatibility between Service Component IT requirements and NGA IT systems, infrastructure, and services as well as providing technical resolution to operations and programmatic efforts.

As the Services IT Technical Requirements Integrator, the successful candidate will provide engineering and integration assisting the GP TX coordinating and working with all applicable agencies and partners to ensure that Geospatial-Intelligence technical capabilities are delivered, operate, and are available to users ensuring that they have the IT resources necessary to properly conduct their National Intelligence missions and Service Component level direct support missions. These geospatial services, applications, systems, and capabilities are delivered by a variety of agencies in support of the IC-ITE (DNI) and JIE (DoD) environments, as well as the DoD and DNI community initiatives. The successful candidate will also demonstrate an understanding of CIO-T, GP, and the respective Service Component NST mission, NGA’s governance and requirements processes enabling mission success, and identifying technical and programmatic areas requiring improvement. Specific task responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Provide technical analysis of NGA related GEOINT architecture, supporting infrastructure solutions and Service Component NST/users of NGA systems/services.

  • Develop, build, and maintain a strong network of counterparts in CIO-T, GP, and Service Component GEOINT/IT program offices to foster effective working relationships.

  • Support efforts to streamline technical processes and eliminate unnecessary duplication of effort.

  • Coordination with both internal and external customers to elicit, define and capture tactical and system-level capabilities/requirements to satisfy mission objectives.

  • Lead technical exchange meetings with both technical stakeholders as well as customers and other relevant core service areas.

  • Support GEOINT Services Partner Engagement requirements and systems from development to implementation, tracking progression, providing continuous status and reports, documenting IT related concerns/issues as they relate to incidents, change management and enterprise management.

  • Establish and maintain capability and enterprise requirements baseline integrity in consonance with sound engineering principals supporting configuration management.


Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI Clearance (with a current SSBI and counter-intelligence polygraph, both favorably adjudicated within the last 6 years)

  • Bachelor’s degree in System’s Engineering or related technical experience in computer science and / or information systems

  • 16+ years system engineering, system development, or IT management experience or equivalent experience/combined education Intelligence Community or Department of Defense experience

  • 10+ years of agency-specific experience with NGA and/or its IC partners

  • Experience working with National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) / NGA or GEOINT Mission Partner systems/segments/services

  • 4+ years’ acquisition work experience in SPRDE (Systems Planning, Research, Development, and Engineering) career field supporting or related field

  • 3+ years’ experience working DoD Services and Combatant Commands.

  • IT Requirements management processes, with an understanding of the NGA architectures, IT infrastructure and associated systems

  • Knowledge and the ability to support and deliver IT Policies and SOP’s

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with an ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner

  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a diverse environment with teammates, customers, and mission partners and senior leaders

  • Very strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills

  • Strong customer service mindset

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the NGA organization and programs

  • Working knowledge of the NSG and NGA acquisition processes

  • Experience managing system interfaces and end-to-end systems integration of new and existing components

  • Experience with virtualized environments and virtualization hardware and software

  • SME level understanding of the synergy between architecture and requirements

  • INCOSE SE&I certification

  • Project / Task Leadership skills and experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
