Thank you.Summary:Provide services to homeless individuals that have qualified for the Housing and Essential Needs (HEN) Program. Supervise and/or provide direct services to homeless and at risk of homelessness participants. Also seek out and acquire housing opportunities for homeless and at risk of homelessness participants. Develop community resources to enhance the ability of the participant to maintain permanent housing. Must pass background and driver record check.Education and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Facilitate Person-Centered Planning to determine vocational goals, recommend appropriate services to achieve goals, and oversee the program and goals agreed upon. Revise as necessary.Assist with the development and implementation of programs and services.Assist with screening of referrals for appropriate program and service options.Establish and maintain good working relationships with participants, referral agencies, landlords, and all team members.Follow up on participant progress, providing encouragement as needed.Ensure all paperwork and related activities are current, accurate, and in compliance. Includes case notes, job logs, and service reports.Enter required data into participant case management atabase in a timely and accurate manner.Stay informed of state and federal laws affecting the organization and the people it serves.Submit data for continuous improvement outcome reporting system, as requested.Attend meetings, conferences, trainings, and workshops as approved or required by supervisor.Make recommendations to supervisory staff on necessary changes in policy or management style.Track revenue and expenses, as requested.Provide services in accordance with Goodwill policies, CARF standards, and principles of safety.Assist in developing natural supports for participants.Assist participants in achieving the highest level of independent functioning while receiving services.Review each participant's referral information, vocational assessments, psychological profiles, work assets and/or limitations, and other available information to determine appropriate job match.Gather data and write reports of participants' work behaviors and progress.Perform job and task analysis.Perform triage, assessments, and prioritization of clients for enrollment into HEN and/or referral to other resources.Build capacity around diversion services (participant-driven case management to help at-risk households self-resolve with connection to other resources, advocacy, and limited financial assistance).Complete habitability inspections, as needed, to assure that placement locations meet department standards.On-site case management in order to pivot resources to a facility-based model or clustered, master leased units.At a variety of work locations, provide hands on supervision and support to participants, and/or employees, during their learning and performance of job duties.Develop and maintain employer and landlord contacts.Stay informed of current wage trends.Assist participants in seeking, obtaining, and retaining transitional and competitive employment.Assist participants in seeking housing opportunities that fit within the HEN guidelines.Develop jobs related to participants' abilities, limitations, job needs, and desires.Educate individuals with regards to educational and career planning opportunities.Mode l appropriate work behaviors and interpersonal skills.Contact participants to inform them of employment possibilities.Perform employment and/or housing searches for participants, utilizing computer databases, networking, and Internet.Inform businesses, labor associations, and the general public about Goodwill services.Determine the worksite is properly equipped to ensure participant safety.Maintain a multiple caseload with work at various locations.Travel around Spokane County in search of job and housing opportunities. Follow all policies, procedures, and directives of Goodwill Industries assuring safety of personnel or property.Work collaboratively with Workforce and Family Services to provide services.Properly wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Maintain agency confidentiality.
