Our customers are farmers, ranchers, agribusinesses, commercial fishermen, timber producers, rural homeowners, and crop insurance customers in Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Alaska. Our Controllers team is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the team. This full-time position is based at our Spokane Headquarters, and reports to Manager-Accounting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Processes GL activities, prepares journal entries and reconciliations, including but not limited to fixed assets, leases, and notes payable. Operate as key control point for quality assurance for departmental accounting and reporting processes. Develops and maintains analytics to ensure accounting and reporting is accurate and timely. Provide technical guidance and research related to GAAP and regulatory guidance. Provide input on existing system functionality and design and serve on work groups to assist in the design, testing and implementation of new systems. Identifies, develops and implements process improvements. Skills/Experience: The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
