Baring Blvd. Veterinary Hospital and Wellness Center in Sparks, NV is a busy 12-13 DVM full-time equivalent AAHA hospital. We have an invigorating blend of newer graduates, middle of the career DVMs, and wise “old” veterinarians whom together create a learning and challenging environment. We have rounds twice daily where we SOAP cases together and suggest options and changes to protocols. We are committed to compassionate care and modern medicine. We offer a plethora of services including, but not limited to, advanced orthopedics (TPLO, plating and external fixation) acupuncture, diagnostic ultrasound, chemotherapy, laser therapy, endoscopy, laparoscopy (ovariectomy and gastropexy). Baring Blvd Veterinary Hospital is a AAHA Accredited hospital. We are a fast paced, dynamic hospital. We have a highly experienced staff of Doctors who each have very busy practices. We have 15 doctors, and about 75 total employees. We strive to work as a team to make our veterinary health care top notch. We are open 7 days a week, and offer many advanced procedures. We are seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) Receptionist to join our team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing friendly, compassionate service. We are looking for animal lovers who enjoy a challenging, fast paced, but rewarding position.
Veterinary office experience is a plus but not mandatory. Position would require a flexible schedule including evening and weekends.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints
Answering multi phone lines
Troubleshoot and resolve issues and concerns
Document and update customer records accurately
Develop and maintain a knowledge base in veterinary terminology
Checking in clients and scheduling of appointments
cleaning and restocking of the over the counter products.
Previous experience in customer service, Veterinary office experience a plus but not mandatory
Ability to build rapport with clients
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Positive and professional demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work a flexible schedule, which may include weekends.
