Our client (a financial services company) is looking for:
a strong infrastructure technical / solution architect
with experience of designing target infrastructure end states and migration planning
and has experience of data centre migration and networks
Following on from the sale of one its businesses, a programme has been initiated by our client to work on the design / migration planning phase for the separation and migration of the impacted systems, infrastructure and networks from its current IT estate.
The scope of the separation impacts core business systems, shared support systems, data centre migration, telephony, Active Directory Platform, hosting and worktop / desktop refresh.

Operating Style - self-starter, comfortable operating autonomously and demonstrating leadership and technical credibility whilst working with project teams and technical SMEs. Whilst not personally responsible for delivery of the solution, the successful candidate will liaise with relevant Programme/Project Managers (including offshore providers) to help facilitate delivery execution.
Experience of IT infrastructure separation / migration following corporate sale would be advantageous but is not mandatory.
