Job Description

The exciting placement role is to work in the EPS sensor integration team responsible for developing steering sensor sub-systems within the ZF Steering Organization.

Your task:

  • Work with Engineering teams, suppliers, Quality, Production and project teams to deliver the sub-system to meet ZF and customer requirements. You will gain experience of the technical content of projects, including design, specification and adherence to timing to achieve performance criteria.

  • Support the following activities:

  • CATIA design work

  • Validation management and reporting

  • ZF change management

  • Work with other undergraduate Engineers to manage, develop and deliver the annual student project – normally unveiled in a site-wide presentation or open day.

  • Work with ZF colleagues around the world – this placement may provide the opportunity to visit steering sites outside of the UK.
