Aventure Staffing Network Administrator in Sioux City Area, Iowa
Looking for Network Administrator for our manufacturing client.
Responsibilities of this Network Administrator will include:
Support LAN, WAN, Internet, intranet systems and VLAN environments and ensure LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Administer backup solutions and transport backups to designated off-site location.
Install and maintain network hardware and software.
Analyze and isolate issues.
Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
Evaluate and modify system performance and determine network and system requirements.
Maintain integrity of the network, sever deployment and security.
Design and deploy network solutions.
Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration.
Maintain Group Policy Objects (GPO) consistent with company standards.
Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
Available to take after-hour calls and week-long shift in rotation with other IT personnel.
Must have 3+ years of experience managing network of 100+ workstations
Strong understanding of computer network infrastructure.
Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.
Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
Ability to create network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
Ability to quickly learn technologies and products using documentation and internet resources.
Ability to work with all levels of IT staff inside and outside the organization.
Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Dependable and flexible when necessary and able to work on-call rotation.
Experience with local area network and wide area network administration.
