Study Group Senior Commercial Analyst in Singapore, Singapore

Role Summary:

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this role in the FP&A team is responsible for delivering insightful sales commentaries for month end and forecast, budgeting/forecasting for overhead costs and business partnering with Sales directors and sales team providing decision support, market analytics and preparation of financial reports for reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide insightful month end/forecast analysis and commentaries for HE Sales division

Generate monthly/forecast financial reports for submission to finance director, UK Corporate team, presentation deck for business review with Regional Sales Director

Create forecast templates during annual and quarterly forecast and conduct walkthrough with sales team

Partner with HE Sales Directors and HR to roll up headcount budget for forecast and budget and manage actual spend against budget

Partner with SE team to review headcount productivity

Key point of contact to load forecast in Agresso during annual and quarter forecast

On-going engagement with sales team to create financial awareness within the HE Sales function and provide finance advice where applicable

Ensure HE sales team comply with company policies and delegation of authority (DOA) and enforces control

Assist in new system implementation

Support the finance team in identifying areas to improve in terms of workflow, templates etc.

Geographical Scope

This role will be based in the Singapore office, no requirements for travel within the role; however, there may be ad hoc travel for conferences, meetings.

Selection Criteria:

Qualification and Skills

Degree in accountancy or accounting qualification (CIMA/CPA/ACCA/CA)

7-8 years of FP&A experience in MNCs preferred

Fluency in English and Chinese

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

(If proficient in Macro/VBA will be a plus)

Experience Required:

Proven track record in similar roles focused on FP&A business partnering and strategic analysis

Experience working with sales team preferred

Strong financial modelling, analysis and presentation skills

Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills across multi countries and cultures
