About the role:

  • A rewarding career opportunity with Citibank Singapore Ltd’s country analytics team, Decision Management. This position will be for Cards Analytics, a decision science analyst to partner with business stakeholders to provide analytics solutions for business growth.


  • Analyze, consult and advise business partners on data-driven pitch for merchant tie-ups

  • Develop machine learning use cases and partner with Regional Decision Management to design UAT and deploy machine learning algorithms in Citi IT infrastructure

  • Proactively identify and advise business managers revenue growth opportunities by analyzing real-time spend transactions and customer behavior patterns

  • Keeps updated on usage deals in market through web analytics in Citi ecosystems via avid programming

  • Partner with analytics team, digital journey owners and product managers to transform traditional CRM marketing into algorithmic data driven portfolio management

  • Redesign marketing journeys for consumer banking products by integrating leveraging custom segmentation from analytics team and customer DNA signals from data scientists with personas from marketing team

  • Deliver real time personalization through reinforcement learning, ROI performance of channels, media mix modelling and marketing funnel analysis and systematically deploy customized offers via digital platforms

  • Sense for biasness in business requirements, frame the business problem, structure the analytical approach and advise the stakeholders with information which is incremental to decision making

  • Maximize effectiveness of key digital product touchpoints through DMP modelling, behavioural data tracking and offer optimization through an omni-channel strategy across Mobile and Social media channels

  • Check campaign programming, perform UTT testing and case validation. Investigate and trouble-shoot on existing Campaigns/Codes issues

  • Work closely with offshore campaign management team to ensure timeliness and accuracy

  • Communicate methodology and results to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Participate in the regular organization’s strategy/management meetings to review KPI performance and recommend the next steps


Required Qualifications:

  • Bold, curious, resilient leader who is adaptable and is able to operate independently in ambiguous situations and fast pace business environment

  • Fast learner and is able to pick up knowledge of banking products and ecosystem within 45 days

  • Thinks out of the box and drives business transformation initiatives

  • 3-5 years of experience in AI/Machine Learning techniques

  • Proficient programming skills in SQL, Phyton and R

  • Good experience working in big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hive and Hadoop

  • Good knowledge of Tensorflow (Open AI libraries are a plus)

  • Experience in No-Sql databases like MongoDB, Cassandra or DynamoDB

  • Working knowledge of distributed memory systems such as Redis and Memcache

  • Strong communication and good presentation skills to manage both technical and non-technical

Preferred qualifications:

  • Computer Science or Software engineering background.

  • Degree in mathematics, statistics or econometrics will be a plus

  • Prior experience in ecommerce or online retail is a must

  • Prior experience in Fintech or open banking will be a plus

  • Extensive hands-on experience in building solutions for large-scale data infrastructure

  • Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking
