This Proposal Development Analyst on the Strategic Growth Ops team coordinates proposal development activities including drafting proposals for new and existing clients (e.g., employers, government), gathering related statistical and system - related reports, and directing the preparation of supporting documents and analyses.

* This is an hourly paid non-exempt role*

* 40hr work week schedule*

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates proposal development activities including drafting proposals for new and existing clients (e.g., employers, government), gathering related statistical and system-related reports, and directing the preparation of supporting documents and analyses

  • Works closely with sales, product, legal, pricing, and other functions to tailor contractual provisions to reflect prospect's needs, company interests, and appropriate resources and timelines

  • Responsible for network analysis and disruption projections related to new business cases, which may require expertise in software used for modeling and geographic impact analysis

  • Supports initial contract admin and client service in clarifying requirements and ensuring fulfillment of obligations

  • Analyzes and investigates

  • Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise

  • Work in a highly matrixed environment and collaborate with sister proposal units to reflect one core value story and integrated process

  • Complete all project - related work in a timely, productive manner and meet all case deadlines

  • Thoroughly review proposal product before shipment with team lead and BDM

  • Maintain and enhance business skills, including understanding health care industry, managed care trends, healthcare reform, etc. and participate in all relevant training opportunities to enhance and improve current skill set

Demonstrated Skills:

  • Ability to effectively understand RFP questions and search the core database to find an accurate and complete response that matches the funding and product offerings

  • Ability to convey complex thoughts, both written and oral in a clear, concise way that is tailored to the audience

  • Ability to research the customer’s needs (through Web sites and other sources), work with sales by developing meaningful and thoughtful questions to extract the necessary case information

  • Listens well; ask questions effectively to gain information or clarify understanding in order to ensure high - quality work

  • Thoroughly understands and utilize all available sales support tools, including the database and marketing collaterals

  • Ability to anticipate and understand the unique needs of our sales partners and develop strong working relationships

  • Ability to understand network and financial information and bring those elements into the case writing process

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED or higher

  • Proposal writing or marketing experience

  • Work 40 core business hours Monday - Friday

  • Able to work overtime, nights & weekends when required

  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Live within a commutable distance of one of the office locations listed for this specific career

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Knowledge of Salesforce or Qvidian proposal automationsoftware

  • Healthcare industry experience
