HTT INC Technical Sales-Account Manager in SHEBOYGAN, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position is responsible for identifying and cultivating business relationships with existing and new customers through prospecting, developing accounts and contract negotiating. Manage specific sales accounts including price management, growth targets, customer projects, and customer communication. Increase customer base and year over year sales. Identifies and develops new business with existing customers. Develop a prospective customer list and follow up on sales leads. Implement price revisions based on current market conditions. Review and recommend approval/changes for customer contracts. Communicate with HTT management using call reports and other communication tools a summary of prospects and customer contact. Communicate with customer service, quality, and production to improve customer communication and satisfaction. Communication to include; quality issues, delivery performance, efficiency concerns, profitability improvements, safety, and other areas that will make HTT the supplier of choice. Develop and present marketing materials to prospective and existing customers. Make sales calls and contact existing as well as prospective customers as assigned by the Business Director. Keep up to date on industry trends and technical developments. Ability to read blue prints/drawings to quickly determine manufacturing capabilities. Provide preliminary quotes and estimating as required. Work with the management team to meet all objectives set in the business plan. Coordinate with customer service sales forecasting and projections from customers. Expected travel 50% or more to customers and approximately one day in Sheboygan, WI corporate office. Exceptional oral and written communication skills Ability to self-direct and self-manage daily tasks and activities Ability to build relationships with customers at various functional levels Ability to prospect and close new business Ability to communicate customer needs to engineering resources. Required Qualifications: Minimum five (5) years of experience in technical sales, or project engineering in automotive, consumer and industrial markets.
