WA HCA Account Management Team - Communication Consultant
As a key member of the account team serving one of our largest groups, the Key Account Communications Consultant works collaboratively with external and internal colleagues across the enterprise to write, edit, and coordinate design and production of printed and online materials for health plan members.
This position is the hub for managing all health plan member and stakeholder communications and coordinating client’s review, feedback and approval. Communications may include web and online materials, such as Certificates of Coverage (COC), brochures, letters, talking points, and FAQs. Coordinates iterative review process with multiple Cambia and customer stakeholders, and coordinate production and printing of multiple materials in support of health plan benefits fairs and open enrollment.
This is a market facing and internal liaison who will work with the Strategic Relationship Director to develop and deepen relationships between the client and Regence.

Responsibilities & Requirements
Partners with the customer to facilitate development, which could include writing, editing and/or coordinating reviews/approvals of all member communications for the client.
Balance representing the voice of the customer with alignment with Regence communication strategies and seek opportunities to improve the quality of the communications developed, and more efficiently manage the end to end process, from development to production.
Liaison between our key accounts internal departments such as Digital, Operations, Strategic Communications, Client Management and others.
Manages schedule of communications, and defines schedule for ad hoc communications as they surface
Establish and execute a process for production of annual Certificates of Coverage for health plan members.
Facilitate edits and finalization of Welcome Packets and Open Enrollment materials working with internal partners and print vendors
Facilitate provider termination notice process.
Coordinate data sourcing for health plan member communication.
Manage production timelines with client and ensure appropriate client and Cambia staff understand and meet expectations.
Manages writing, review and content updates to client benefits website, in partnership with digital teams.
Facilitate and support development and production of health plan member communications as requested by client. Could include brochures, letters, talking points, FAQs, web and digital content.
Gather and send documents used to make coverage determinations to client on a monthly basis
Normally to be proficient:
The Key Account Communications Consultant would have a degree in communications, marketing or a related field and 5 years of communications experience plus an additional 2 years of experience in employee benefits, or equivalent combination or education and experience.
Demonstrated competency working cross functionally and coordinating activities with all levels of staff both internal and external including third party vendors through clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of health care benefits including benefit design and ability to translate them into language the average health care consumer can understand
Strong team player with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate information with tack, diplomacy, patience and professionalism.
Experience working with design and print vendors
Strong understanding health literacy, with the ability to develop communications in a manner that is consumer-focused
