We enable investigation of the hardest and challenging Risks to Amazon. We are the Investigation Platform team. We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Software Development Engineer interested in full stack development. On our team, you will own the design and development of the next generation Investigation Platform and the Buyer Risk Investigation Program. Basic QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. 5+ years of industry experience building successful production software systems. Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills (C/C++ and/or Java preferably on a UNIX or Linux platform) A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals. Experience with large-scale multi-tiered systems and service-oriented architecture. A focus on clean code and solid designs. The ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly Preferred Qualifications Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent with 2 years of industry experience. Experience delivering high-volume production software services in a Linux environment for 2 years.
