Our team builds the front end user interface and back end systems to power video commerce and advertising on Amazon's retail website, mobile applications, and devices. Our team is launching new initiatives that integrate videos, ecommerce, and advertising and we are looking for an entrepreneurial and customer-focused Senior Product Manager who can work with creators, customers, engineers, and designers to build engaging video experiences that ultimately drive revenue. This is a great opportunity for a results-oriented individual who enjoys iterating on new products. You will own the product strategy and the roadmap, driving ideas from conception to delivery. You will be expected to build the product iteratively, starting with a 'minimal viable product' and quickly improving it to increase customer engagement. You will be expected to think strategically about the business, identify the most promising opportunities, and move quickly. Your success will be measured by your ability to build product and incentives for video creators of all kinds to upload videos to Amazon. Key responsibilities: Conceptualize and deliver new products and product features. Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences. Present confidently to Amazon senior management, external clients, and other large audiences. Successful candidates will be strong leaders who can work on cross-functional teams, make effective prioritization decisions, communicate clearly, and deliver results. You are comfortable taking initiative and working across teams in a relatively unstructured environment. Passion for the customer and their user experience is a key requirement. Basic QualificationsBasic qualifications 5+ years Product Management experience in digital media or related industry Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent A demonstrated track record of leading a medium to large-scale "program" from conception through completion, demonstrating multi-functional skills to make it successful Analytical and able to create sound business arguments backed up by data Ability to establish and manage projects and initiatives against a set of key metrics and goals Ability to lead and influence across different organizations and align diverse teams to a common goal Handle multiple contending priorities in an energizing environment Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication abilities: must effectively communicate with technical and non-technical people Demonstrated ability for being detail-oriented, self-motivated and driving follow-through Preferred Qualifications Experience in content management Familiarity with technical aspects of digital / video advertising Passionate about generating big, creative ideas to differentiate in the market, growing the business and working with advertisers and agencies to build innovative products Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive; demonstrated ability to have fun and inspire team Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer &n
