We are looking for a ten year industry professional who relishes in the challenge of operating complex and mission critical systems. As a Sr. PM-T in the Inventory Planning & Control (IPC) team, you will be responsible for executing strategies and decisions for both new and existing business and inventory management optimization products as defined by the Buying Team. You will also be responsible for local execution that impact Amazon's inventory optimization to achieve the best experience for our customers at the lowest price. In this role, you will be responsible for: * Configure Buying systems and set Buying policies to optimize for Long Term Free Cash Flow (LTFCF). * Analyze plan performance weekly to understand causes of variation. * Execute launches of new features created by SCOT software teams. * Partnering with key stakeholders to define product strategy * Promoting data-driving decision making throughout the team * Addressing barriers through problem solving and coordination with stakeholders * Partnering with other teams across Retail and Supply Chain to identify and influence development of new products and services * Build and manage high quality product roadmaps based on your vision and strategy * Gain support for your strategy and roadmap from stakeholders by writing narratives and influencing peers and senior leadership * Creating program goals and related metrics, track progress and manage through obstacles to achieve your objectives * Communicating performance, articulating root-cause analysis and linking to specific improvement areas * Sharing best practices with other Amazon teams This role will involve about 25% travel Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related fields Knowledge of Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations 5+ years work experience managing multiple competing priorities and engaging technical & non-technical stakeholders Ability to work with teams at all levels of the organization and apply concepts to different countries Experience shaping business strategy for technical products or services Preferred Qualifications MBA or Master's degree in Engineering, Management, or Technology preferred Experience building roadmaps, managing product backlogs, and working closely with software development teams to build new products in a start up environment Strong process engineering abilities Exhibits excellent business judgment Experience using data to illustrate business conclusions Strong critical thinking skills with ability to challenge normal operations Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results Strong bias for action and be able to work iteratively Ability to communicate clearly and compellingly and who understands how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong and talented team An innovative thinker who also has a strong customer and quality focus Has an entrepreneurial spirit Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer – Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation
