Navos Maintenance Technician II in Seattle, Washington

Position Summary:Under direction of the Facilities Manager or assigned Lead facility staff member, performs all tasks related to the physical maintenance and repairs of Agency buildings, residences and property.Responsibilities:Responsible for the day-to-day tasks related to the physical maintenance, repair and operation of building systems including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting and plumbing.Respond promptly to electronically submitted Facility Requests.Participate in after-hours On-Call emergency request response in accordance with department protocols.Assist Lead Facility Staff maintaining Agency supplies, equipment and tools as necessary.Assist as assigned in preventive maintenance and safety inspections programs for facilities, vehicles and equipment.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Three years of increasing responsible facility maintenance experience preferably in a healthcare setting.Operations, services, and activities of building maintenance, repair and construction.Proficient with regards to methods, terminology, equipment and tools in the maintenance, repair, and construction of building structures and systems including those used in performing rough and finished carpentry, plumbing, heating, electrical, mechanical and painting work.Computer skills including Microsoft Office and Facility Request Ticketing systems.Demonstrate excellent customer service and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of performing maintenance functions.Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.Familiar with healthcare regulatory standards such as The Joint Commission an
