In this role you will be working to develop and mature embedded firmware. The ideal candidate will help the team in the following ways: 1. Develop firmware and related systems 2. Mature prototype firmware and improve firmware robustness 3. Work closely with hardware developers to bring up new hardware 4. Innovate to further optimize performance. 5. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, EE, Robotics or related field Must have experience developing embedded firmware Must have experience testing and validating firmware Proficiency in C and/or C++ a requirement Knowledge of software/hardware engineering practices & patterns including design reviews, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing Preferred Qualifications Experience with developing firmware for controls systems Experience with creating firmware for motors, servos, and other electromechanical devices.
