We are looking for a hybrid designer/developer often referred to as a "DevSigner" or "Design Technologist". As a Design Technologist you will be responsible for combing UX Design and engineering expertise into a single discipline, and will develop, prototype, and test innovative UX solutions that push the envelope on front-end and back-end engineering paradigms. This position is responsible for forward thinking technology design and must have experience in software / web development. A successful candidate will be a clear communicator and adept at synthesizing a variety of design concepts, technologies into innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate has experience in technical UX for software as a service, strong ideation skills, robust holistic systems thinking, attention to detail, and experience working in AGILE environments.

Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS * 5+ years experience in Web Design and UX. * 5+ years of experience as a technology designer, interaction designer, or similar design technologist related roles. * Knowledge of one or more of the following: Native mobile development (Android/iOS), Python, Unity/C#, HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript, web and server programming and Responsive/Adaptive design. * Solid understanding of best practices for UX, interface, and interaction flow of applications and experiences * Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS * Create fully functioning interactive prototypes based on product requirements. * Ninja skills with AGILE Software development methodologies and best practices.

PREFERRED SKILLS * Demonstrated ability to reach stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment * Experience building extremely high volume, highly scalable, near real time web services * Experience in interactive prototyping
