Cybersecurity Policy and Compliance Analyst

Key Role:

Assist with accrediting virtual and augmented reality technologies for use in classified environments. Provide Cybersecurity and information assurance analysis and consulting throughout the security assessment and compliance life cycle process for mobile and tablet, virtual, and augmented reality technologies, including hardware and software. Assist with Cybersecurity compliance planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring immersive software applications and devices are designed, developed, and deployed with adequate protection of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Maintain responsibility for planning and continuous monitoring of Cybersecurity and information assurance policies, programs, compliance artifacts, and standards in support of government and industry security compliance, systems accreditation, and management. Administer the documentation, validation, and accreditation processes necessary to assure systems meet security and information assurance requirements. Develop communication materials summarizing current software and hardware security posture, target compliance end-state, and project plans to achieve compliance with the full breadth of government security regulations and guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with DoD Cybersecurity or information assurance policy

-Experience with RMF Authorization and Assessment activities, including conducting security control validation and maintaining system authorization packages

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of the Department of Navy Risk Management Framework process

-Knowledge of augmented and virtual reality technologies

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in Cybersecurity Policy or related field

-DoD Cybersecurity Work Force (CSWF) Certification, including Security+, CISSP, CASP, SSCP, CISM, or GSLC CEH
