Description

The Commerce Bank of WA in Seattle, a division of Zions Bancorporation, is currently seeking an experienced bank operations professional to fill a Customer Service Support Specialist in Seattle WA . This individual will be responsible for backing up the Customer Service Specialist when they are out of the office, providing the same outstanding customer service our clients would receive if their primary customer service representative was available. This role will include preparation of new account documents as well as signer revision documents. This position also includes responding to client inquires and requests check fraud review and responding to credit verifications. This position requires an individual with the flexibility to assume whatever tasks are required on any given day. This person will be responsible for the following:

Primary duties – Customer Service Support backs up the Bank’s seven Customer Service Representatives in taking calls from clients, processing transactions and performing research. This position also fills in for Customer Service when they are out of the office, answering email and voice mails and reviewing and processing accounts on the overdraft report.

Other duties – Set & maintenance of Online Banking, back up Front Desk and some client facing interaction.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • MUST HAVE High School Degree or Equivalent and 1+ year experience in administrative or customer support services, banking or other related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

  • STRONLY DESIRES – BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent work experience.

  • Basic knowledge of banking, bank products, bank operations and services.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Solid customer service, inter personal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and other business software.

  • Experience working in a fast paced corporation environment.

  • Good problem resolution skills.

  • Must be able to work independently and maintain confidentiality in variety of situations.
