Weatherford Maintenance Tech III (Electro-Mechanical) - Manufacturing in SCOTT, Louisiana

Perform work involving maintenance skills or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in working conditions. Usage of different tools will be required ranging from hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.


Understands applicable theory for job duties required.

Interprets and uses schematic, drawings and Instruction manuals.

Works with minimal supervision.

Assists in making evaluation and recommendation.

Train operators (as required) as well as provide guidance and mentoring for less experienced operators.

Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Generate ideas, lead, support and implement process improvement projects.


High School Diploma or GED required.

Electrical, mechanical and hydraulics competency.

Be able to communicate effectively.


Advanced technical schooling.

5 or more years of directly related experience.

Completed a 4 year apprenticeship or equivalent.

6 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
