Currently, we are seeking a Systems Administrator with RHEL experience for the Applications, Infrastructure and Systems Support Third Iteration (AISS III) contract at Scott AFB, IL. The selected candidate must have or be able to obtain government security clearance, per contract requirements (Clearance Level: Secret).
AISS III provides systems engineering, migration, integration and sustainment, service lifecycle management, system, network and database administration, training, testing, architecture and system design, configuration and asset management, and information assurance support to the Air Mobility Command.
The Systems Administrator:
Participates in testing, troubleshooting, and analysis in the development of systems and components supporting the AMC enterprise; in particular, the Mobility Enterprise Information Service (MEIS)
Has comprehensive knowledge of RHEL and/or Unix systems administration
Understands XML and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts and application
Performs technical integration and interoperability testing of Agile-developed and delivered SOA services using XML tools
Provides support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of MEIS processes and diagnostic processes
Formulates policies, procedures, and standards relating to MEIS systems administration and test processes, and monitors activities and utilization.
RHEL and/or Unix Systems Administration experience
Experience with automated testing using Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP)
Understanding of SOA services and XML tools used in testing SOA services
Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years’ experience or equivalent
Security+ CE Certification
Secret Security Clearance
Certified in one or more of the following: Windows, HBSS, RedHat, Solaris, Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, Mongo, VMWare, CISCO, F5, Tivoli, AWS, Cloud, ITILv3 Foundations
