Govt Program Coordinator in GAC SavannahUnique Skills:See Job DescriptionEducation and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering, a related curriculum or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Entry Level position. Formal experience with regard to program and project planning, scheduling, and/or overall business analysis with demonstrated performance preferred.Position Purpose:Under moderate supervision from Project/Program Manager or Director, coordinates program planning, tracking and scheduling activities for government programs.Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions: 1. Provide support to functional groups in planning and schedule development. 2. Performs analysis of overall program performance as directed by the Project/Program Manager. 3. Responsible for follow-up on program action items as required. 4. Support cross functional planning meetings in preparation for program implementation. 5. Assist Project/Program Manager to ensure a successful program launch. 6. Advise Project/Program Manager of barriers or constraints that may impact the success of an on-time modification. 7. Assist with the development and distribution of team notifications and other distributions to ensure solid communication of current program information.Additional Functions: 1. Assist Project/Program managers with support and reporting responsibilities 2. Support Project/Program Managers and Directors with research as required. 3. Coordinate with cross functional support team to assist with execution of modifications, upgrades and improvements. Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements: 1. Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Project type planning software. 2.
