Bordering Savage Senior Living is a 288-acre area that features a wetland and has been given permanent protection under the Minnesota Wetlands Conservation Act. The Fen is home to rare wildlife, geologic features, and spectacular views.We’re proud to be the first senior living community in the City of Savage with a variety of senior living options including senior living, assisted living, and memory care. Our staff is long tenuredand they believe in Ebenezer’s mission toheal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, meaningful lives.

The Activities Assistant assists with the planning and implementation of quality leisure/social events program designed to assist residents in maintaining their personal potential physically, socially and mentally. This position offers full time (1.0 FTE/ 80 hours PPD) day and evening shifts with every other weekend opportunity.

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Assists with leisure programs and activities

  • Assists in meeting the psychosocial needs of residents

  • Other duties as assigned by Activities Director

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • One to three years previous experience preferred

  • Preference given to candidates with previous experience with memory care loss

  • Must be able to drive a 14 passenger van
