LOCATION: Hortolandia, SP (Tech Town) / Sao Paulo, SP (Vila Lobos)

  • The role holder is responsible for maintaining and managing releases/ patches level for all the hardware and software in the estate

  • The work includes identify End of Life (EOL) date of all the Hardware and Software and maintain the version within SLA.

  • The Release & Deployment Management service is used to ensure that major or infrastructure roll-outs are conducted in a structured and best practice manner according to agreed policies.

  • The role holder is responsible for monitoring relevant vendor portals for severe vulnerability notifications and creates a record for each designated high or critical vulnerability in the Register.

  • The role holder will check the release notes from manufacture for any security/ vulnerability alerts and liaise BT TDA and Security team and initiate project when patching is necessary.

  • The role holder is responsible to open projects and govern them until its completion working interactively with other teams within BT.


  • Working with stakeholders to develop the life-cycle sustainment plan during Materiel Solution Analysis, and shall mature throughout Technology Development.

  • As a lifecycle Manager, candidate will be accountable for the on-going success of the products from launch through the end-of-life (EOL). The candidate will maintain clear and open communications between internal and external stakeholders to focus on product strategy, relevance, profitability, and quality.

  • Co-leading the development and implementation of Team project (tools and processes) working with the Project Leader and interfacing with engineering organizations and leaders tools development strategy and tollgate process.

  • Tracking release versions on all hardware and software in the estate.

  • Creates a record in the Register for each high or critical notification via Vendor/Customer emails/Open Community.

  • Participates in status review meetings for open remediation.

  • Progresses each life cycle project record to closure as part maintaining the Register.

  • Develop and support life cycle project plan preparation

  • Raising projects (having customer raise RFQs) to update any releases reaching End of Life or those identified as significant security/vulnerability risks.

  • Tracks and reports progress against the remediation action plan, in coordination with the implementer and other stakeholders.

  • Reviewing the overall state of releases and ongoing update projects with the customer.

  • Adhere to Project Management and customer policies, supporting their development through participation in related product life cycles.

  • Tracking release versions on all hardware and software in the estate.

  • Effectively communicate on regular basis vertically and horizontally in the organization release management activities progresses demonstrating accountability for functional and business objectives.

  • Develop and support Life Cycle Management plan preparation.

  • Liaise with any group that can facilitate swift remediation of applicable security vulnerabilities, within agreed targets.

  • Presents weekly status to key BT stakeholders and customers.

  • Interacting with BT’s Change Manager on interrelated activities.

  • May involve liaising with internal, external and third party suppliers.


  • Ability to impact the business by influencing decisions through advice/quality of work produced by self/others.

  • Able to maintain a reputation for quality and delivery of their expertise to the business.

  • Assists in the definition of strategy and evolution and associated infrastructure investments for Group/LoB.

  • Assists with the transformation strategy for a network, platform or technology discipline in own area of expertise.

Authority/Decision Making:

  • Works under general direction within a clear framework of accountability. Substantial personal responsibility and autonomy.

  • Plans own work, to meet given objectives and processes.


  • English Language skill required, ability to regularly converse on telephone in english language conversation is necessary.

  • College Degree in computer science, information technology, or other related technical area.

  • Cisco certifications highly desired.


  • Understanding of enterprise Lifecycle Management concepts and systems is required

  • Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining a Life-cycle sustainment plan.

  • Good Knowledge of CM (Configuration Management) concepts (Planning, identification, Change Management, Status Accounting, Verification and Audits) and LM automation tools (IONIX) and features.

  • Extensive Business Analyst knowledge / experience in the Life Cycle Management space required.

  • Cisco Certification (CCNA, CCNP) is recommended.

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and Access) skill is a must

  • Good understanding of procedures and application of procedures and concepts within own subject area (and understanding them in the context of the business).

  • Awareness of internal/ external business issues and best practice in own discipline which is then applied to own role.

  • Identifies key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data and can take a broad perspective to problems and spot new, less obvious solutions.

  • Manages own time to meet agreed targets.

  • Develops plans for specific work activities in own area over the short-term, which may include forecasting resource requirements.

  • Provide guidance and support to others. Completes own role independently or with minimal supervision/guidance.

  • Demonstrated ability to guide and influence others in a matrix environment/organization.

  • Experienced and competent in own area.

  • Demonstrated Written and Oral Communication skills required.

  • Shares own expertise with others.
