Job Description

Project Manager – Strategy & Business Operations

We are seeking a Project Manager who will provide leadership to key projects within the Strategic Project and Portfolio management department.

Summary / Essential Functions:

Proactively manages teams and works with stakeholders to define and implement strategic initiatives

Create and maintain high-performance, well-motivated project teams

Ensure projects and/or programs are implemented within stated goals and timelines

Leads small to medium size teams in defining program strategies, developing goals, assigning project tasks and ensures the team meets all goals.

Using project management tools develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving

Interacts with all levels of management

Participates with other managers in setting the project strategy, schedules, resource alignment and financial analysis

Approves team deliverables for project / program completion

Anticipates and resolves conflict situations in a win-win outcome


. Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

5+ years of Project Management experience in GMP industries (Pharma/Biotech/Medical Device)

PMP certification preferred

Must be knowledgeable in all phases of project management life cycle

Ability to demonstrate acumen with Microsoft toolset: MS Project, Power Point and Excel

Must be well versed in project management tools and possess knowledge of related disciplines

Must be self-motivated, capable of analyzing and solving complex problems through innovative thought and experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Must possess ability to proactively manage multiple cross-functional tasks and initiatives simultaneously

Ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams

Ability to work independently and apply excellent problem-solving techniques.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
