We are looking for a dynamic staff technician or associate engineer for Wi-Fi RF front-end products. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting application engineers with works that are focused on RF amplifiers, switches, LNAs, mixers, diplexers, and Front end Modules for WLAN and Smart Energy applications. The tasks also include supporting analog and RF components designs for other commercial and consumer end products. Applicant will work closely with application engineers and end customers in performing a wide variety of highly complex tasks in testing, tuning, debugging, and documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Wi-Fi system customer boards tuning/optimization/troubleshooting

  • Support Qorvo Wi-Fi RF products on key chipset reference designs

  • Build, Tune and test Qorvo products on EVBs and generate the data summaries and report.

  • Hand on skills on RF parts debugging and rework (soldering under microscope)

  • Understanding and ability to use RF instruments such as such as Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, RF Signal Generator, NF meters, Oscilloscope etc.

  • Assisting in determining methods or actions for continued quality improvements in the lab processes

  • Conduct simple data processing and data analysis. Generating reports / application notes

  • Regular maintenance and calibration on general test equipment and RF test benches.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree in EE with 5+ years RF experience or, BSEE with 0 – 1 years’ experience

  • Knowledge of RF and digital circuitry and test equipment, RF tuning experience, a great plus

  • Hands-on board level and components level experience in Wi-Fi, a plus.

  • Excellent Soldering experience, a plus

  • Proficient in MS Office suite such as MS word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Eager and able to learn new skills, improve technical knowledge, and work in a dynamic team environment

  • Experience with troubleshooting electronic assemblies and strong analytical skills
