Senior Principal Analog Application Engineer

Location: Chandler Az

The Position Description is…Technical Product Application Engineer working with Cadence Analog Simulation and Environment Products, including but not limited to Spectre, Spectre APS, Analog Design Environment ,AMS Designer and Spectre XPS.Support technical evaluations/benchmarks and drive the process to deliver Cadence solutions. Assist Customers to successfully adopt and deploy Cadence new products and methodologies. Work closely with Sales Management to identify sales opportunities, prioritize them and help develop winning sales strategies. Develop an understanding of the customer's needs and also of the competition's technology and sales strategies to create solutions that best meet our customer needs. Communicate customer requirements and feedback to Cadence Engineering groups and Marketing for issue resolution and to improved product features and quality. Conduct technical presentations, technical training, and product demonstrations to customers, including development of customized presentations as required.

The Position Requirements are…Hands-on experience with Cadence’s analog mixed-signal design tools (Composer, Analog Design Environment, Spectre, SpectreRF AMS-Designer, Design Framework II, Open Access, SKILL programming) is preferred. Experience with analog/mixed-signal behavior modeling (Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS) and analog or mixed-signal IC design (7+ years preferred) are highly desired. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a thorough understanding of IC design, strong problem solving skills and experience with LINUX and PC skills are required. Occasional overnight travel is also required.
