EHS Manager

Located in San Jose area. The EHS Manager is responsible for compliance initiatives specific to obtaining and maintaining certification standards pertinent to the electronics recycling industry. Additional responsibilities include activities related to compliance to federal, state and local regulations related to the company's business including safety and OSHA regulated issues for all employees. As a member of the leadership team, the candidate must have the confidence to proactively address issues that affect the core operations of the business.


Manage a standardized EHS record keeping and reporting system

Monitor security guard performance and adherence to security policies

Budget planning for environmental, safety and security projects each year

Provide leadership, oversight, and support on EHS and security-related issues

Monitor frequency of required trainings for all departments, design and conduct trainings

Develop & implement ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 required documents and training courses

Continuous consulting within the organization regarding best practices, current and future trends

Investigate, design and develop energy saving and safety enhancement projects for the warehouse and office space

Manage EHS and Security personnel and performance, prepare and present reports regarding EHS and security-related issues

Ensure new EHS-related laws, regulations and other requirements in the industry are communicated throughout the organization

Lead safety, environmental and security activities in warehouse and office to ensure the company has a safe and secure warehouse and an environmental friendly workplace

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM


Attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Excellent communication skills






Strong project management and training background

Experience with regulatory agencies (E.g. ISO, OSHA, EPA)

Bachelor's degree in Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of the California DTSC requirements and reporting for an electronics recycle
