A local, Rancho Bernardo apartment complex is looking to hire an office assistant that is very detail orientated, focused and cares about their work and who they are working with and for. Since this person will be interacting with executives and residents, being calm, cool and collected is very important. Also the perfect candidate will be respectful of everyone that enters the building, including the residents; this is also a very important piece of the job. They need someone who enjoys working and helping others.

This position is temporary to hire. There will be onboarding/training, but this organization really needs someone to hit the ground running.

Other job duties: * Previous clerical experience is a must. Min. 2 plus years office assistant experience * This position will support 2 full time managers * Answer phones at reception, direct calls and take messages * Greet residents and visitors, welcome everyone who comes in the door * Open, sort and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail. * Process, prepare documents such as business or government forms - confidentiality is VERY important * Must be able to multi-task and have strong computer skills in MS word and excel * Maintains files and process contract renewals * Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, greet residents and visitors * Operate office machines, photocopiers, scanners, fax machine and voice mail systems * Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, database systems, either manually or using a computer

Requirements

Must haves: 1. Detail orientated, has software skills, knows MS word and excel for data entry 2. Cares about others and enjoys helping others 3. Must provide platinum customer service to both public and internal, including residents and employees 4. Needs to be a team player with a cheerful disposition and is good with people 5. Be able to keep confidential information that is seen and/or heard

Hours: Full Time hours, Monday ? Friday 8am ? 5pm, but they can be flexible
