Poolman officially opened its doors in 1964, with a vision of becoming the largest swimming pool service company in Arizona. The goal was an insatiable focus on customer service, something that didnt exist in The Valley.
By 1993, Poolman had over 1,200 customers and smaller companies wanted to join the Poolman team. Several acquisitions/partnerships took place throughout the years, and our customer-first attitude was transferred to our growing account base of 2,500 in just a few short years.
By the summer of 2007 there were 5,500 customers on weekly service. In 2008, we entered San Diego, CA and in 2009 we entered Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas with the innovative FREE Salt System program.

Responsibilities: * Maintain and / or build a strong relationship with the customer. * Service pools and spas weekly. * Test water chemistry & accurately balance chemicals to maintain a sufficient and regulated standard. * Make sure pumps, filters, salt cells and auto-cleaners are performing as designed to perform with adequate inspection. * Regulate & inspect all pool equipment. * Empty skimmer baskets, pump baskets * Vacuum Pool & spa. * Net water surface & brush pool / spa tiles. * Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper inventory of supplies for the company vehicle. * Help maintain an organized and clean warehouse & home base. * Routinely backwash pool & spa filter systems. * Complete all required paperwork necessary for each assigned job, including but not limited to: time allocated to the job, the materials used, appropriate use of work order numbering, and all other pertinent information required by the company or the customer * Must maintain current and developing knowledge of pool / spa products by successfully completing required training.
Qualifications: * Ability to brush a pool & spa with diligence & effectiveness. * Thoroughly fill out County hesalth & safety log books with detailed & precise information from pool & spa readings , as well as personal observations. * Neatly and legibly log information in to county and company log books. * Ability to life 50+ Lbs repeatedly * Ability to effectively and clearly communicate with customers and coworkers. * Ability to walk, stand, lift, kneel repeatedly for 8+ hours in possible extreme weather conditions ( Rain, cold, heat, wind, etc.) * Maintain a calm, cool, and collected demeanor if under possible negative circumstances or emergency situations. * Candidate must posses "The customer is always right" attitude & mindset. * Rational & logical problem solving skills. * The candidate must have the continuous willingness to learn new skills and techniques. They must never let pride or ego become a barrier to any learning opportunity and be comfortable asking for help. * Must have a conscious attention to detail, being able to point out and issue at a service location, no matter how big or small. * Pleasant, well groomed, high standard of personal hygiene is required and strictly enforced. * Maintain an open and clear line of communication between office personnel and management.
