CVS Health Pharmacy Technician-Prior Authorization No Weekends in San Antonio, Texas

Job Description

CVS is going through enormous growth and we are looking to add to our Case Review Unit.

The main responsibility of this unit is to handle incoming calls from pharmacies and prescribers to assist in the prior authorization process. This team focuses solely on specialty medication and is responsible for prompt and accurate call resolution to ensure that all necessary prior authorization documentation is completed. Successful processing of prior authorizations within this team allows for members who require specialty medication to receive their live saving medication in a prompt and efficient manner. This in itself makes every member of this team feel good about the work they do on a daily basis.

Required Qualifications

Texas State Board of Pharmacy Certified Technician

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous health care experience and/or Managed Care experience preferable.

  • Previous customer service experience preferred.

  • Nationally Certified as a Pharmacy Technician.

  • Available to work from 7AM to 8PM- Monday- Friday

Education

Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
