The Role

Due to continued success and growth within the organization, we are currently seeking an Underground Technical Consultant to join our DynoConsult team - the Asia Pacific, based in Perth, Western Australia. Reporting to the Technical Manager this opportunity will see you manage the delivery of small and medium technical blasting projects across geographies, provide technical underground & explosive advice to internal and external customers and assist in the delivery of our underground blasting course.

Leveraging your mining/resource sector expertise, you will be a senior member of the UG team assisting with strategy, identifying and implementing new technologies in an UG environment and provide mentoring. The culture of safety is paramount to our success and you will play an integral part in promoting OH&S procedures to ensure Zero Harm at all times.

About You

  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong hands-on experience underground drill and blast expertise as well as strong project management methodology, knowledge and experience.

  • You will be degree qualified in engineering or science discipline with additional professional development that has helped you develop your career.

  • Leveraging your exceptional written and verbal communication skills enables you to engage and build strong client and operational site relationships.

  • Open Cut experience is seen as favorably

  • You will also be familiar with modern safety practices as well as have the ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment (including a drug and alcohol screen) and obtain a Security Sensitive Ammonium Nitrate (SSAN) clearance.
