POSITION: Document Imaging Associate LOCATION: Salt Lake City, Utah SHIFT: 1st shift, (40hrs) DURATION: Permanent - Full Time Job Description Responsibilities: Document Indexing: Identify objective data and enter ("key what you see") at a high level of productivity and accuracy; Perform data entry task from a paper and-or document image; Utilize system functions to perform data look-up and validation; High volume sorting, analyzing, indexing, of insurance, legal and financial documents; Identify, classify, and sort documents electronically; Update computer records on multiple local databases; Locate, retrieve, maintain, organize and assist users; Retrieve and-or archive documents Prepping documents by orienting, repairing and removing objects such as staples and paperclips from documents. Prepping also includes unfolding corners, taping down small pieces of paper on larger sheets. Placing barcode separators in between documents for scanning Scanning will include the calibration and cleaning of paper scanners, correction of double feeds and poor images, operate all aspects of scanning software application, and joined with the quality processing of items through the scanning process and document naming convention. Exceptional reading and comprehensive skills required Perform duties and special requests as assigned by team leader and manager Must be able to process during peak volume spikes with little or no intervention from Management. Review and process confidential and extremely time-sensitive applications Maintain high degree of quality control and validation of the completed work Ensure operating and quality standards are met based on service objectives Maintain accuracy of required reports and logs Ensure the highest level of customer care Ensure adherence to business guidelines, safety and security procedures Maintains accurate documentation of invoices for processing and storage; ensuring compliance within set business guidelines Excellent reading and writing skills and good verbal communication skills Implement scanning or other automated data entry procedures, using imaging devices and document imaging software. Create document batches for scanning, coding and quality assurance Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environmentProvide backfill when needed Enter information daily into spreadsheets Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 6 months customer service related experience High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required Qualifications: Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills required (Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred) Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Lifting to 55 lbs with or without accommodations Willingness and availability to work additional hours if assigned Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment Competency in performing multiple functional tasks Ability to meet employer's attendance policy PAY TRANSPARENCY NONDISCRIMINATION PROVISION The contractor will not...
