3rd Shift Machine Operator/Set Up

Randstad is currently seeking an Experienced Machine Operator/Set Up Operator for a reputable Manufacturing company located in Largo, FL

Shift: 3rd Shift - 11:00PM to 7:00AM

Pay: $16.00+ (Based on Experienced)

Location: Largo, FL 33773

Projected Start Date: Mid December or Early January

This is a heavy industrial position that requires the candidate to operate and set up 2 molding machines along with quality checks on the products and packaging. The operator will be responsible for operating and setting up the 2 machines at the same time.

Responsibilities:

Operates with high speed stamping presses, and or molding machines.

Responsible for set-up, tool setting, and some quality control.

Analyzes and troubleshoots process-related problems.

Operates, monitors, and adjusts controls to eliminate defects.

Meet established production, delivery and quality targets.

Reduce machine down time at set ups and tooling change-overs.

Assist in the careful installation of the Stamping Tools/ molding dies and the set up qualification regarding product.

Disposal of scrap according to instructions.

Inspects, measures, and tests in-process and final product per the established product control plan with precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and optical comparators.

Monitors quality and production output.

Working hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Skills:

Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, drawings or product specifications and customer-provided specifications to determine customer requirements.

Works in a team environment to complete work.

Interacts with production supervisor and inventory control to fine tune estimates for materials needed for production depending on what is being manufactured.

Verifies calibration sticker on applicable equipment is present and current.

Handles and prepares product for shipping.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Vocational Training preferred with an emphasizing electro-mechanical, PLC, hydraulics and pneumatics, or equivalent industrial experience.

Good working knowledge and experience with Bruderer Presses, Engel, Arburg or Gross Maffi machines.

1-2 years experience operating high speed stamping presses or molding machines.
